All rescue plants available from TCSS are collected
per Arizona Native Plants Laws and carry the appropriate
state tags and seals. Plant salvage and recovery
is governed by state law under Arizona Revised Statutes
Title 3, Chapter 7, "Arizona Native Plants" which
is available on line from the Department
of Agriculture: Native Plants page.

Our Rescued cacti are sold at various plant sales such as the Pima County Country Fair (Fall and Spring), Fiesta de las Flores Show and Sale at Foothills Mall, Tucson Botanical Garden Weird Plant Sale, Hacienda del Sol Resort Cactus Sale (Spring and Fall), and special TCSS Sales and Shows such as our Blooming Barrel Sale in late August. Approximate prices of Rescued Cacti in our inventory (all are bare rooted; not potted)
Barrels - about $1.50 per inch diameter/height (greater of width or height)
Hedge Hogs - about $1.00 to $2.00 per stem
Pincushion/Mamms - range from $1 to $5
Ocotillo - about $4 per foot tall (to tallest cane, seldom have ocotillo)
Saguaros - Sliding scale $7 for 5", $45 for 2', $75 for 3', $100 for 4' tall (seldom have saguaros)
Cholla - about $8 to $25 depending on size (usually dug on request only)
Prickly Pear - about $7 to $15 depending on size (usually dug on request only)
TCSS Members receive a 10% discount from marked tag prices.
